Back Story

Founded in 2003, MOVA International was created with a simple premise that life should be savored. With our battery-free and cord-free products, we are striving toward a future where people can enjoy simple pleasures in life without wasting electricity or disposing of batteries. Every time you stop to admire your MOVA Globe, you hit “pause” on your busy day to appreciate something beautiful.

Our first breakthrough, the MOVA Globe, was dreamed up and developed in a basement in the small San Diego beach community of Cardiff-by-the-Sea by Bill French, a physicist and inventor with a lifelong interest in solar energy and magnetism.
